Located adjacent to an abandoned quarry lake, this 250,000 square foot office buildingfocuses on a landscaped courtyard linking the lake on the east side with WhiteRock Creek, west of the headquarters.

Essentialto expressing the courtyard as an exterior room is the structural continuationof the ‘veil’ across the courtyard.  Awater feature beginning in the lobby flows through the courtyard toward thequarry lake.  The linkage is abstractedthrough paving patterns in the interior lobby and the main water course.  The water course is an abstraction of WhiteRock Creek symbolically delineating the geological strata.
