LEED & Sustainability

Our focus is on the integration of building and site, which we believe is inherently sustainable. We approach each site and landscape design in a context sensitive manner, incorporating what we see as the “layers” of the site design elements, views and exposure, hardscape, grading and drainage, site lighting and graphics, and landscape planting design. We believe that the integration of these key site elements with the architecture is what truly creates a sustainable design, as differentiated from a practice more solely based upon achieving LEED points.

Budgets and sustainability are always major considerations and design challenges. By closely integrating the site and building design, and the overall ‘fit’ of the project within the urban environment, we can deliver a design solution that will achieve its goals while responding the budget parameters.
