Lauren Fasic, ASLA

"There is no true art without system."

– Le Corbusier

Lauren Fasic is an international award-winning landscape designer. Her career has spanned work in six countries and across Texas. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University's Robert S. Reich School of Landscape Architecture where she received an ASLA Honor Award for her body of work in 2010. She has participated in project work that has garnered both Texas ASLA and National ASLA awards. In 2015, she decided to settle in Dallas with an appreciation of the strong design community and international connection.

Lauren believes that great design is a product of great design process from the beginning of the project through analysis-based concepts to construction. From that foundation, she overlays the story of 'place' through the site's cultural, social, economic and environments needs. With this system, she has a strong ability to work across project types and scales to create an artful expression of landscape architecture. She credits the strength of her most successful work to strong collaboration with architects, engineers, artists and consultants, while challenging herself and others to ask the right questions to maximize opportunities early in the process.
