Location: Dallas, Texas

Size: 25,000 Sq. Ft.

Project Architect: Bernbaum-Magadini Architects

Dallas CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) provides services for abused and neglected children in protective care. The 25,000 square foot, single tenant facility provides space for volunteer training and administrative support.

Located on an urban site within a historical district the building is sited around 150 year old trees. The design incorporates use of local materials, extended roof eaves & louvres and specially designed windows to compensate for the harsh environment.

The site ques from the buildings architecture in a series of courtyards – a parking courtyard with bioswale water collection, a fountain court, and a respit courtyard.

The project is designed to be LEED qualified Silver.
