The Epic Deep Ellum Urban Development

Location: Dallas, Texas – Deep Ellum

Size: 8 Acres

The Epic in Deep Ellum is an urban development integrating office, residential, and hotel buildings. Additional retail spaces and a central alley that can blocked off for a pedestrian alley also complete the ground floor. Tying in with the historic and artistic style of Deep Ellum, this development includes renovating a historic landmark building by Dallas’ first African American architect into a restaurant and event space for the hotel and community.

Urban concrete and metal materials found within the fabric of Deep Ellum are carried throughout all three portions of the development. An outdoor amenity area with a pool, firepits, shade structure, and art, further enhance the new hotel. Painted mural walls capture the hotel’s east edge of property along Good Latimer, carrying on the tradition of artist display space that once lined the old tunnel on Good Latimer.
